NTAASB meetings are excellent opportunities not only to experience a wide array of programs impacting public education, but to network with fellow trustees in Regions 10 and 11. As a member district, each trustee in your district will receive four newsletters during the year, generally associated with upcoming meetings.
Attendance at NTAASB meetings provide paid members with the opportunity to receive a $25 gift card (four awarded each meeting), as well as qualify for SLI/Convention tuition of up to $750 (one in each region). Additionally, NTAASB will award $1,000 at the end of the year to the district having the highest overall attendance during the year; the runner-up district will receive $500.
NTAASB District Membership is truly affordable (see below), and attendees will receive 2.0 CEC hours simply for attending an NTAASB event. What better way to learn, network and earn your training credits!
The first meeting of NTAASB for the 2019 – 2020 school year will be on Wednesday, September 11th, in Denton ISD at Guyer High School. Bill Gumbert will be our speaker, and he will provide us with information on "Understanding the Impact of Charter Schools on Public Education.. As always, NTAASB meetings are an excellent opportunity to network with other Region 10 and 11 board members.
